Celebrate long and well, and may St. Nicholas visit the young lads and lasses with great armfuls of presents. Happy Christmas!
Let nothing you dismay
For Jesus Christ our Saviour
Was born upon this day
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy."

And a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, to you, Sir Dennis. Thanks for the stories. I hope for many more in 20....umm, the new year.
Where are you? Your vacancy is noted and sorely felt.
I concur. What must we do to bring you back? Procure wenches?
Wenches procured.. they will be sent on reciept of a new entry.
The labors of a the mental struggle with Mistress Magee have left our humble narrator fatigued to the point of incapacitation I warrant.
*mournful sigh*
I hope the New Year finds you well, milord. Pray return to us as soon as you are able.
I think Margo killed him. We know she's capable of it.
Where lurks our esteemed narrator for these past fortnights? Dennis, my lord, your absence pains me to the very bones of my soul.
Dear Sir Dennis, do return soon, for your absence is fast becoming unbearable. I long to hear once more of your antics.
I most sincerely lament your absence, but am willing to endure it if it is necessary for the future creation of more masterpieces of internet literature.
Whimper! Nary an update to be found!
Heavy sigh ...
I beg of you, Dennis! Regale us with another of your tales.
Pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaase come back!
Seconded!
And thirded! If such a word exists...
Had many a good laugh from Dennis' tales, and hope you plan on bringing him back for more adventures. He has so much more to accomplish.
Dennis, how can you abandon us? How can you leave your work unfinished?
I'm gonna cry. I'll do it, I swear! Come baaaaaaaaack!
More prose, mule!
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WRITE SOMETHING!!! I PINE, I ACHE, I BATTLE THE MELANCHOLY OF YOUR LACK OF PROSE!!
Got bored, did you? Pity, that.
While I, too, would like very much to see more of the tales of the noble Viscount, I can understand that other things may have kept him away. I wrote a three-month-long alternate storyline on the message board of a comic strip last year, and it was fun, but it was also a fair amount of work. And that was just writing the characters as they would normally act in the strip, and maintaining a pace consistent with the amount of space available each day.
What Dennis is doing here must be much, much more labor-intensive.
Still, five months is an awfully long time. I hope nothing has happened to Dennis. The masterful use of period speech in these tales reminds me so much of the wonderful Flashman novels of George MacDonald Fraser that, for a moment, I wondered if our host might have been Mr. Fraser himself, who sadly passed away at the end of 2007.
